Custom SOPHIE Battle Jackets

Attending Bloodstock this year? Well, thanks to Darren from Metal Thread, we have another incredible, bespoke SOPHIE battle jacket to give away in our raffle!

We are so grateful for Darren’s support and when we were told about the jackets earlier this year we were very excited to receive them… but even we didn’t expect just how beautiful they would be! The time, effort and love that’s gone into creating them, and the Sophie patch on the back, is testament to the incredible community we’re so proud to be part of.

The second jacket will be a raffle prize at Bloodstock Festival, so make sure you come over to the tent, say hello, and get your tickets!

Thanks again to Darren for all your hard work đź–¤

You can read more about Metal Thread on their website: and we implore you to read the wonderful words they’ve written about the Foundation on their “Metal Gives Back” page.

We are recruiting!

Social Media & Digital Communications Officer

We are very sad to report that our social media and communications wizard, Kyle, is leaving the Foundation to follow his music dreams in Germany. We want to thank him for all he has done to help share Sophie’s story and spread our message of tolerance and respect for others. We wish him, and Auger, every success in the future.

That leaves us with an amazing opportunity for someone else! Would you like to join the small Sophie Lancaster Foundation team as our new Social Media & Digital Communications Officer? We are looking for a social media and digital professional who wants to use their talents to help us challenge prejudice and intolerance and ensure Sophie’s story is a catalyst for change. The role is office-based here at our Haslingden, Lancashire HQ but also involves travel across the country.
